This book has been my favorite read of 2024 so far. I can see the author's growth in this work. The story is fresh and engrossing. It took me through so many emotions. A testament to the author is when one can make very personal connections to their writing. Hated to see it end.

I was really not expecting for Ezra to be immortal haha I thought this would be a pretty basic love story. It was definitely unique but it did feel a little uncomfortable that he was so obsessed with Ricki and how he was like 120 years old haha. I didn’t expect Ms Della to be the sacrifice for Ricki being able to stay alive through the curse so that part was a surprise!

I’d actually say 3.5 stars, but you get caught up in it.

I had a time trying to get into this book. But I hate starting a book and not finishing it so I did! & I’m glad I did. I enjoyed it although I predicted some of it especially the ending. I wish I could give 1/2 star ratings It’s a solid 3.5 for me.
