Though I think some of the ideas in this are a little outdated, Ephron’s humor is just as sharp as it is in her movies. If you’re looking for a quick, light read about aging, this would fit the bill perfectly!

I picked this up when I was looking for a light hearted and easy read. And that’s exactly what “I feel bad about my neck was” was. A very easy and funny read filled with both relatable and very unrelatable stories. I loved all of Nora’s thoughts about her love for reading and reading as a child. I’m in my 20s so a lot of the chapters were like glimpses into the future. 3.75 stars because although it was a fun read, there was also moments where Nora’s privileged opinions irritated me.
