Every book I think Richelle Mead can’t top the last one’s ending and every time I’m wrong. Buckle in for plenty of breaking and entering, high stakes, STAKES, and more spirit.

i hate hate HATE that there is so much going on in this book. the beauty of the previous instalments was that every book had one main goal that was built up to. this was just all over the place.

side note: i’m very much team adrian. and as much as i loved dimitri in shadow kiss, i wish they’d killed him <3

This was my second time reading this book and I was not disappointed. I feel like I know Rose and her friends and the surprise at the end of the book caught me off guard again! Lol but definitely consider reading this series it is very good.

Content Warnings: Sexual content, violence, death, murder, fire, fire injury, grief, classism, blood, adult minor relationship, and alcoholism.

I forgot how much stuff is packed into this volume! Barely any downtime this book has action, mystery, secret missions...and so much more.

First off, this book ends wildly different from all the others. The other books tell a whole story. This one ended so abruptly, I didn’t even realize I was reading the acknowledgment until a sentence in. That was kind of disappointing to me, but I’m hopeful to see where it ends. The first couple chapters were slow, but once it picked up, it was non-stop.
