2.5* I absolutely love Orphan Black, and sadly the comic pales in comparison. The depth and complexity of the show doesn't come across in the comics. I think they just didn't have enough time in each issue to get both character development and plot that is displayed in the show. As an avid fan of the TV series, I 2qa hoping this would provide more insight and information not provided in the show. This was more of a comic version of the first season of the show, which is okay, but I think if I hadn't seen the show, I would be very confused.

I'd read the issue for Sarah awhile ago but finally picked up the trade to read the rest of them. Really glad I did, because I think the issues for the other clones are even better, particularly Helena and Rachel's.

I love how this book fills in some holes and has new revelations that may very well make their way into the show, since it was written by the show runners. Definitely a must-read for any Orphan Black fan.

Fun little extra insights into our favorite clones! It's been a while since I've watched the show, but now I really need to plan a rewatch.

I love Orphan Black as a television series but the comics are just so-so. In the beginning the comics are scene by scene from the episodes; I already have amazing episodes, what I want is new material! The issues got better as time went on - more new material and less of what I already know. The art isn't my favorite either. Switching between mediums is a delicate balance for storytelling and the comics just don't live up to the amazing-ness that is Orphan Black on screen.

Rachel es todo un personaje, desde su primera aparición en la serie quise saber más de ella. Aquí encontré un poco de su historia, eso me gustó. Además introducen a un nuevo clon.

I was so excited when I saw that this book exists, but it ended up being kind of a mess. It was mostly a rehash of season one, but why? Because it didn't feel like it would make sense at all if you hadn't already watched the show. There were a smattering of details throughout that I'm pretty sure weren't on the show that were exciting, but it felt like a lot of work to get to them. In the end it seems like the entire thing was to set up the Helsinki storyline, which is exciting, because those events happened almost entirely offscreen, but again, why? Why not just write the Helsinki episode and leave this off entirely?

Feeling disgruntled, even though I will definitely be looking up the next volume.

Wow this was a great issue! As horrible as it sounds, I love seeing how messed up Rachel is! I'm excited to learn more about Veera and maybe her and Rachel meeting again????

Better than [b:Orphan Black: Helsinki|29768051|Orphan Black Helsinki|Graeme Manson|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1459701567l/29768051._SY75_.jpg|50131099], but still not great. It was nice to see some extra scenes of the clones (I especially liked Alison's flashbacks) but we didn't learn all that much new information. Plus there are a lot of continuity issues (some pretty major as well!). I'm surprised how bad this was given that the show is amazing.
