Would read again. All good Romances need anything to drive a plot - angst or secrets or trouble. It was super enjoyable to read a book that didn't rely on the old miscommunication trope for this.
Never thought I'd like MMC named Duke - so growly and usually a dogs name - but it worked. Nicely spiced without being 😬🫣

I love The Edens by Devney Perry so I decided to start Calamity Montana next of hers! I was in need of a good small-town romance series and this was it. Overall this book was pretty average for me. i did like the runaway singer plot, and I also liked the mystery part as well. I liked Lucy and Duke. I think they are cute characters and their relationship is really cute.
This book had a bit of insta love, which is not the biggest fan of that trope. I also feel like there wasn't much happening in parts. But overall I was interested.
