The second installment of this series got the pacing perfect. Throughout the whole book I felt the story advanced at a good pace. The new characters that were introduced complemented the preexisting ones, and the two novels/ stories melded together in a subtle but complementary way. I enjoyed the return of Poe from the first book, and his character is probably my favourite (⁠♡⁠ω⁠♡⁠ ⁠)⁠ ⁠~⁠♪
