I enjoyed the last two sections more than the first two.
Not typically a poetry fan but I definitely enjoyed more of the book than I thought I would.

Bowyer's poetry gives all the feels! The voice is so unique and heartfelt. This collection focuses on love and grief, topics we know too well. There's something for every heart within these pages. I recommend this collection to all poetry lovers.

Thank you to the author for sending me an E copy!

i received a copy of this book through the storygraph giveaway!

poetry really is one of the hardest types of art to recommend, how you connect with words is so subjective... i found it hard to resonate with the way the poems are presented, even when i related to their content

I wasn't expecting to feel so much going into it, but some of the poems hit me a bit hard. I think they were well-written, but they got a little repetitive and seemed to jump around thematically a bit which was confusing for the reader. I would have liked for a couple of them to rhyme, but that's just a personal preference.

Either way, worth a read if you like poetry.

I love poetry, but never took the time to read a poetry book before. I received my copy through a giveaway and didn't know what to expect. I certainly didn't expect for any to resonate strongly with me, but it proved me wrong. There's raw emotion and grief intertwined. Whilst not all of it hit home for me, the ones that did hit hard.
