Hmm, that was interesting to say the least. I am not 100% sure how I feel about it and if I will be continuing the series. Guess I'll do what I did with this one and if the next volume is on sale, I will buy it.
I really enjoyed this and I can't wait to continue on! It was much different than I thought it would be - in a good way!

I found Fraction & Zdarsky's break out comic to be a bit underwhelming. I enjoyed the plot devices and the illustrations but it felt a little too familiar. Maybe straight people having mind bogling sex is boring to me? Yep, that's definitely it. Entertaining and a little bit different than most comics but there are some others that I would recommend before this one.
Narration threw me off at first but this was so fun. Adolescent sexuality honestly approached with a big twist.
Ohhhhhhh! This is the best comic I've read this year!
Absolutely hilarious, I only wish I could hang out with Fraction and Zdarsky all the time. The comic book is BEAUTIFUL (at least to me, as I have kind of odd preferences when it comes to graphic novel art) and seems to handle a truly scandalous topic (orgasms and masturbation, anyone?) with the kind of humor, aplomb, and practical reality that makes it that much more memorable! Five absolute stars, and I can't wait to get ahold of volume two!
After feeling a little let down by The Wicked and The Divine, this reminded me of much I enjoy comic books. It's witty, and the characters are both likable and realistic, they made mistakes but it didn't leave me banging my head against a wall. The concept is really something, and I like how it talks so openly about sexuality. I really appreciated how it pointed out how negatively sex is viewed by society, seen as 'dirty' when it's not at all and people shouldn't be afraid to discuss it more. This is not quite a 5 star for me as I feel this volume is just setting the comic up, as volume 1s do, and getting us familiar with characters and such as there was a hell of a lot of flashbacks. But I am super excited to get reading volume 2, where I'm hoping the plot will start taking shape!!
