This was actually funnier than I thought it would be. It's such a weird, but cool premise. I love the two main characters - Suzie and Jon, I actually ship them so bad.

Sex Criminals is an interesting concept to say the least. I was not expecting to be a huge fan of what I was anticipating to be a lot of unnecessarily vulgar humor, but somehow Fraction and Zdarsky managed to write a book about time stopping, bank robbing, fornicators without overdoing the vulgar jokes. I found some of the writing to be a bit cheesy (Fat Bottomed Girls) but not so much so that I didn't enjoy the material. I thought it was honestly quite an original and quirky take on both anti-hero writing, as well as the concept of superhuman abilities.

WTF did I just read? Besides something awesome, obvs.

I liked this but it ran into one of my issues with graphic novels that are really just a collection of issues: too short! This is only five issues and felt a bit thin. Super quick read, but I'm not sure if I'll pick up volume 2.

Pretty weird, but also hilarious. This page in particular freaking killed me:

Very weird concept, but i'm actually interested in seeing what happens next.

Weird, intersting, original. I liked the 5 issues I read here, definitely want to see where it goes. The dialogue felt very natural and funny, hopefully the story can stay interesting.

Ha, this was awesome.

I'd heard amazing things about this from a friend so I was excited as hell when I picked this up.

I really enjoyed this! I just wish it had a little bit more crime to it but never the less I'm excited for the next volume! :D

I liked this waaaay more the second time around! I go to a monthly women's comic book meet up and this is the book we're gonna talk about tomorrow!
Also we're Skyping with Chip Zdarsky!! Eeeeeeeeee.

This book was fantastic. I've surprisingly heard mixed reviews, but I now know nobody has the same book taste as me. This was an explicitly rated comic about the ability to stop time when particular characters climax. It was surreal, humorous, colorful, and all together wacky. I highly recommend for mature readers and those down for a wild kooky time.
