Fell a little flat

It had a lot of potential but ended up feeling shallow both in terms of plot and character development. The grammatical errors were also disappointing and distracting.

2.5 stars This is good and better than other new adult romances that I've read because there's plot and its not repetitive, but I just wasn't into the storyline.

I really loved Nordic King, but this one didn't captivate me. I didn't really care for the characters and kind of found it boring. Maybe I would've enjoyed it more if I had a break in between this and the Nordic King.

I feel bad for rating this so low when I know this is better than other books I've read. I just don't think I was in the mood to read this type of book.

Couldn't stop reading it. I cried. I'd love to see a prolonged epilogue!

Not what I was expecting at all. BUT SO MUCH MORE. This book is much deeper than I expected. Great plot, all the feels, steamy couple.

Well this one certainly was fun! How lucky is Maggie when she walks into a motel room she is supposed to clean when a man walks out from the bathroom just all free. Then she sees him in the bar, drunk (that's what they think) and doesn't know what to do. Her kindness leads Viktor asking Maggie out on a date. I was surprised how quickly Maggie found out he is not any ordinary man. He is the prince of Sweden, taking time for himself after the death of his brother. Maggie herself is now the guardian to her siblings after her parents are killed. Both Maggie and Viktor are dealing with their own trauma and find so much similarity in each other. All good things come to and end and he needs to go back to Sweden. Although this was a longer read, it was truly enjoyable. The differences in culture makes for hysterical situations. He's reach and she's struggling to provide for her siblings. Super enjoyable read.
