I enjoyed this short novella but now that I finished it, I'm wondering, "What was the point of it being written?" I have given this book 4 stars because I believe Koumandareas's writing was excellent - not knowing the characters' names made the affair between Koula & Dimitri so interesting...I felt as if I were involved. However, this story has been told before...so I'm not so certain that I'd recommend it. Great writing, not so unique storyline.
