An immortal Christmas classic which perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the season. Not only will this book forever get me into a festive mood, but continues to deliver an important message on the importance of empathy, kindness, and the constant prospect of transforming oneself.

Just missed reading this on christmas because I'm kind of lazy. The second Dickens story I've read/listened to. The first being, funnily enough 'The Chimes'; another of his christmasy type stories which was another audible listener gift. Huh, sensing a pattern here. I enjoyed this one more than 'The Chimes' I think. Much more unforgettable imagery and plot, and of course Scrooge whose name has become synonymous with those who share his initially foul attitude toward christmas. 5/5 Bah Humbugs from me.

Um livro de uma importância absurda para o Natal como conhecemos. Introdução muito interessante, boa gramatura além oferecer ótimo conforto visual. Uma história emocionante e realista, além de curta e rápida. De aquecer o coração.

This is my favorite Christmas story. I love the message of the need to see the world and to help others.

It's amazing how much better Dickens is when he isn't getting paid by the word.
