Not so relaxing, moderately funny not as much as his stand up ,mainly interesting. Some difficult parts that are a bit unpleasant, mostly okay. Sometimes I was not rooting for his narcissist attitude.
Moderate: Death of parent, Grief, Sexual content, Sexism, Mental illness, and Pedophilia
Minor: Alcohol, Adult/minor relationship, Car accident, Drug use, Vomit, and Death

The glowing reviews are for the audiobook and I just currently don't care that much. May pick up later.

A very funny book, particularly the first half where he concentrates on his childhood. I listened to the audiobook which is read by Michael McIntyre himself. He reads it so well, doing different voices for everyone. His grandmother's voice is especially good! I would highly recommend the audio version.

I wasn't a fan of Michael McIntyre when I first heard him (on Mock the Week) but as I watched some of his own shows like 'Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow', I began to see why everyone found him hilarious. I thought it would be a good thing to read his autobiography for curiosity more than anything. I am so glad I bought this book as it is such an easy read and I have been reading it for the past 2 months or so as just small bits at a time for some light reading. It had me laughing from the first page as the words form jokes without him even trying. He reduced me to tears at some points I was laughing so hard. I would definitely recommend this book to anybody, not necessarily big fans of Michael McIntyre but anybody mildly interested in his life that likes a bit of comedy.
