Again I’m mind blown by these stories and totally encapsulated by Sherlock and Watson’s adventures. I read every one and claim they are my favourites but this one definitely has to be at the top. It’s so creepy, foreboding and clever and I love reading through the duration of the story to the conclusion and seeing how Holmes cracks the case. His ability of deduction and observation never fail to astound and amaze me!
There isn’t much that I can say for this book that hasn’t been said before and I always find reviewing timeless classics so hard but Arthur Canon Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes stories are just amazing. I read and reread these stories all the time and they just never get boring. Love them!

I was glad to see the relationship between Sherlock and Watson was as wonderful as ever, a good story, interesting ending.
Holmes and Watson are recruited by Dr. Mortimer after is friend Charles Baskerville dies under mysterious circumstances. Local legend tells of a hellhound that roams the moors in search of Baskerville heirs. Dr. Mortimer is bringing the last remaining heir, Henry Baskerville to the Baskerville estate and wants to keep him safe. Watson agrees to go and keep an eye on things while Sherlock Holmes finishes up a case in London. While on the moors, Watson and Sir Henry meet their neighbors and learn of an escaped convict.
I know Sherlock Holmes books are classics, but this is the first I tried to read. I couldn’t do it. Sherlock was like Sheldon Cooper without the comic relief...
Better than A Study in Scarlet, but still not good. The descriptions were lacking, the plot was convenient, there was too much telling and too little showing. The only thing keeping me interested in continuing is the dynamic between Scherlock and Watson. 2.5 stars.
Ahh verdaderamente elemental.(?

Another entertaining Sherlock Holmes story. Not my favorite but it gets the job done.
Because of the title I expected it to be more 'dog related', but that's ok.

This story was different than what I had anticipated. I just expected more out of it, because it’s one of the most well-loved stories of Sherlock Holmes. One thing I did like was the gothic atmosphere. I also liked that Watson was the front man this story, instead of Sherlock. However, I found it very difficult to follow who the characters were and who they related to. The end also didn’t really feel surprising to me. I’m still going further with the series though.
