Interesting use of atmosphere

This was my first Holmes novel and after having seen the BBC show, I had some rather high expectations that I feel weren’t completely met. Maybe there are better mysteries Holmes and Watson find themselves in that I should try but this one just seemed average or maybe I’m just spoiled by Ms. Christie.

A classic!

One of THE stories of all time, extremely famous for very good reason because it'  just that good. I've watched, read and listened to this story at least 10 times and I'm not sick of it yet and doubt I ever will be.

In my opinion, we all should go back to reading the classics. If we stopped reading filthy LGBTQ novels and went back to intellectual classics such as this one, the world would be a lot better (and smarter).

4.75 stars

Didn't like the ending as much as the rest of the book.

Im making my way trought Sherlock Holmes as audiobooks (since they are all free).

This is definitely my favourite Sherlock and mostly bc Sherlock has a really tiny part, just as the end where he does his "ofc i knew everything" that gets super boring the rest of the books.
Its still a 4 stars (this is a reread) bc it is really predictable.
