EONS better than the first book, the H and h were cute enough together. So far I’m getting the sense that These books don’t really delve into any of the characters past troubles very deeply, a lot of them are talked about briefly and then not really brought up again. I feel like depending on what mood I am In I could either like that or be annoyed by it,, it makes the book easier if that makes sense? OKAY, On to the next book. I am so excited! The premise sounds adorable. I love Berk but I don’t really like how he genuinely seems unswayed by the future love interests presence in their interactions and the way he talks to his friends about her. Like he’s not rude, he just seems slightly indifferent. We’ll see. I still think it could be my fave book out of the series.

*4.5*
I absolutely loved Nix and Elle. They both had difficult things to work through, made mistakes and came together beautifully.
I loved the friend group dynamics that were explored further in this one. The setup of the next 2 books made me very excited to see how things unfold.

With one look...they started a relationship they never meant to.
With one wrong number...they became a thorn in each other side.
Preconceived notions, misguided judgments, and pasts held them in a war they never intended to start.

The Second We Met is a fun and entertaining enemies to lovers story. With some seriously entertaining secondary characters, best friends, and foreshadowing, it's hard not to be ready for the next installments of Fulton U. I appreciate the realistic nature of Elle's hang ups. I saw some other people bashing our heroine in reviews. Saying she wasn't realistic. I may never have gone to college but I knew plenty of people like Elle. People struggling to find their own place, walls up to keep past hurts away, protecting themselves from future heartache. Totally not real...uh huh!

The Second We Met is an apt title because well their meet cute is unforgettable but it's also a nod to being the second in the series and that makes me unreasonably giddy for unknown reasons.

With their emotional tolls on each other and wildly chaotic relationship, B and E and the Golden Boy will have you swept up in their mess before you even realize it. Careful, they aren't the only ones out to snare you for their cause!
