This just didn’t hit for me and I’m annoyed about it. I loved Cross the Line. Maybe I felt like the actual F1 plot line felt a bit flimsy… actually I feel like all of the plot lines felt a bit flimsy. There was so much going on but also nothing at all - nothing felt fleshed out enough for me.

Thanks to @prhaudio for the free audiobook.
With the guys tearing up the Hungaroring today before their well earned summer break, I figured it was the perfect time to share my thoughts on Ride With Me by Simone Soltani.
I loved Cross the Line, and when I saw this one was a marriage of convenience with a side of Vegas chaos? Say less. I was in.
💍 Left at the altar? Check.
🍸 Drunken Vegas night? Check.
🏎️ Wake up married to the grid’s most hated F1 driver? Yes please! Gimme!
Stella and Thomas have no business working as a couple and that’s exactly what makes them so fun to root for. There’s heat, banter, and surprisingly heartfelt moments as they decide maybe this fake marriage might just solve both their PR nightmares.
Benji Blythe and Tamsin Delali totally bring the characters to life. Thomas’s British charm and Stella’s no nonsense energy are perfection on audio.

The trope is fake marriage. Stella and Thomas are legally married, but it was a drunken Las Vegas wedding. Two weeks after being left at the alter Stella, famous for her chain of macaron bakeries attends the wedding of her cousin in Las Vegas. There she meets and falls deeply in lust with F1 driver, Thomas. The two characters are honest with each other. Their situation alternates between sad and funny, but consistently sexy. The author does a great job with this genre in assuming the readers are intelligent enough to enjoy clever banter and no contrived outlandish situations
Ride With Me was such a great time! I’m a sucker for fake dating/engagement/marriage tropes, and this one delivered in the best way. I thought Cross the Line was great, but this one? Fantastic.
The banter and flirting were on point, and Thomas was the sweetest, with a deliciously filthy mouth in private. Total book boyfriend material. Stella started to wear on me a bit toward the end with all her hesitation, but thankfully she came to her senses before it got too frustrating.
I had so much fun with this one, and I’m thrilled there’s already a release date for book three. I’ll be picking it up the second it
