Oke. Singkat saja.
Keempat. 2 cerita terakhir yang......”lah kok gini dah ceritanya” seolah hanya konflik klasik.
Kelima.

Complete review available: Problem at Pollensa Bay
This is one of those books it's probably better to stop half-way through. Problems at Pollensa Bay was a thoroughly mixed bag of short stories by Christie. The Harlequin Tea Set and The Love Detectives offered a display of her talent, but others fell far short of Christie's usual standard. The last two in the book were not crime stories, a fact at which many take offence, but act as satisfactory studies on character, and are certainly not the worst offenders in the collection.
Christie wrote a wealth of work in an extra-ordinary way, and this collection does not do justice to this at all. If you're looking to enjoy some Christie, I'd look elsewhere...

This was an impulse listen because I wanted a short audiobook and I knew Agatha Christie is pretty good for easy listening. These were a mixture of short stories, most of which featured people I have not encountered before, though I knew Christie wrote about them. Parker Pyne and Harley Quin are people I haven't read about before, though I definitely preferred Parker Pyne's rather interesting manipulation of the setting, rather than Mr Quin's mildly supernatural way of doing things.
The romance short stories in this audiobook are not exactly happy in that respect but they did get me enthralled right up until the very end. It was an eclectic mix of stories and I really enjoyed what we got. It has definitely made me more interested in checking out Christie's other books now that I am almost done with Miss Marple and Poirot stories. 4 stars!

It'd been awhile since I read any Christie, despite how much I used to love her in my younger days. I came across a mention of this collection because it includes additional Mr. Quin stories. One of those was excellent and one was so-so. Really, the whole collection is like that -- about half are exactly what I wanted in a Christie short story and the other half, while not bad, didn't make any impact on me. Most are mysteries, though there are two that aren't. The mysteries include characters you may remember from her other works. (well and Poirot, of course!)
