I think I’m obsessed with Jack!
Him doing small things like giving her the carb count for hot chocolate unprompted, knowing the difference between “bolus” and “basal” insulin, and carrying around diabetic friendly snacks just to show her that she is worth being cared for MADE ME SOB. Diabetes can be super isolating and it’s not a large plot point in the book, but those were the interactions that stuck with me and kept me rooting for them.
