I have read TLH and knew exactly what I am getting into when I started reading this - a very intelligent but miserable damsel in distress kind FMC and a big, giant, huge, bulky MMC.
Just wanted to read a silly romance, and that's exactly what I got - enemies-to-lovers (more like misunderstood-to-lovers), he fell first, women in STEM, banter, she dated his brother, some spice. That's it.

I thought this book was SO cute! I was in the mood for a cute romance and that is exactly what I got. Jack is the sweetest book boyfriend a girl could ask for. And I really enjoyed watching Elsie work through her struggles of being a people pleaser. The only thing that made this a four star book instead of five star is I felt like I had to read too many times about how “hot” Jack was and it was starting to get too repetitive. Other than that, I loved this book and would recommend this to anyone who wants an easy but fun read.

Also there is spice in Love Theoretically, so if that isn’t your thing, I would steer clear of this book!

I love how Ali Hazelwood features women in STEM as main characters. I loved physicist Elsie in this book and how she works so hard to please others but doesn't think about what she deserves or what would please her. I know I'm guilty of that. Maybe a lot of women are in general? Definitely related to Elsie learning to speak up for herself. I like that Jack actually pays attention to her and encouraged her to speak her truth.

This was honestly so lovely. It was definitely more academic than the others. But with so much more going on. I loved that Elsie had so much more to her character. And what can we say about jack..he was an absolute asshole(endearing).
