This book was so intricately woven and the stories being eventually intertwined and intercepted with each other was one of my favorite parts. I truly enjoyed the journey I went on while reading this book! It was a top tier read- very deserving of all the acclaim and accolades it gets. I def would recommend all to give it a read- it did start off a bit slow for me in the beginning but push through and it does get better as you get more engrossed in each character's history and life.

I don’t even know what to write I am blindsided by the emotions this book made me feel. I truly didn’t expect that the Argos was on earth, before it was revealed I was stressing so much about having to read Konstance’s ending. How everything tied together was amazing, I loved the writing. I really really like this book and I wasn’t expecting to love it as much as I did. I cried for Zeno. If I had to choose, I would say that Omeir’s part of the story as he was traveling to the siege was my least favorite it is the only part I feel could’ve been shorter. Because I enjoyed his character and his life when he gets back home but I wish I had more of it from when he got back and his life with Anna. Rex’s character was so tragic but I would love to be a researcher with the same amount of passion. I could keep rambling but I’ll stop because there was too much that made me feel.

This book really felt like a love letter to humanity. Reminded me how much I love nature and libraries.

A slow start but worth the wait for a beautiful ending. A very lyrical book to remind us of the ephemeral nature of stories.

An absolute masterpiece. How Doerr manages to weave together such separate threads, I will never understand. A love song for librarians, for books, for the sensitive hearts, for humanity. Truly incredible. (Will add that this book is best read quickly to keep track of the plotlines.)
