Short but oh so achingly sweet. I have a soft spot for any story that involves old people and grandparents and this one did not just tug but yanked at my heartstrings. Fredrik Backman truly has a way with words and this emotional beautiful novella got me highlighting lines like a student cramming for an exam. Such a wisdom-filled story about love, fear, life, acceptance and death. I hate that I postponed reading this. Cannot recommend this enough.

I never read or listen to short stories, but I am so glad I listened to this one. The story is wonderful and the narrator brings it to life.
