I've read the Star Trek series for decades now (horrible realization here), and this book was the first to catch my interest in years. I'm really looking forward to Ms Beyer's original content novel that was mentioned in the author's notes.

It is an almost perfect Voyager novel!
A lot less character angst this time, so it left room for an interesting sci-fi story, which I liked very much.
Can't wait to read what's next for Voyager Fleet!

Again, another solid entry in a franchise I was pretty cold on. Of course, there’s no favor here for Harry Kim who might continue to be the worst Trek character there is. Other then that, it’s fascinating stuff

This installment in the Star Trek universe was a bit dull. A little action and suspense but a large amount of personal inter-relationships. Seven of Nine had a strong role but everyone else seemed rather ineffective. This book takes place sometime after the Borg's elimination. I should have read those books first. Oh, and there is a major loose end.

Immensely better than the book that preceded it (and also the one that followed, which I gave up on halfway). The storyline is tight, focused on your favorite characters, and neatly tied up most the mysteries introduced in the previous book. I was not entirely a fan of the previous book, but soldiered through as it picked up in its second half. I would say that book is worth reading just to read this one. I tried to read Children of the Storm but gave up on it, finding that most of the plot points I cared about were already addressed in this book.

Solid entry in the Voyager relaunch series. It nicely sets up a new era for the Voyager crew and even manages to introduce new characters in a non-irritating way. I still miss Janeway though.

Enjoyed it. It wasn't quite as daunting in scope as its predecessor, but the characters went to interesting places in their lives while the timeline moved forward in a needed way. Very satisfying read if you've been missing the Voyager cast.
