small and easy to read. the book was interesting and I really liked Annie's character, even when she was being 'difficult'.

i really enjoyed this book, it felt so realistic and sad, and the way we feel annie john grow up through the book, and her feelings evolve as she ages is really sad & beautiful, the ending felt really full circle.

Kincaid’s writing is sooo incredible. This is a continuance of my weird girlhood fixation, and Annie John is definitely a strange little girl whom I adored the perspective of. No critiques, I devoured this.
