A good instalment in the high rise mystery series!

I enjoyed this book, but I definitely preferred High Rise Mystery over this one. I liked the interactions between Nik, Norva and George as they tried to solve the mystery perhaps more than the first book as the characters are more established in my mind in this one. It's just not quite a favourite book for me, but I'd totally recommend this if you're a fan of mysteries as it is a good read.

There's quite a big focus on fame and music in this book as the person who got murdered in this book is in the music industry, and this is certainly not a thing/trope in books that I enjoy. I also can't work out whether I liked the fact that there was no actual murder until halfway into the book or not. However, what I did really like was seeing progression in Jackson's writing through High Rise Mystery and this book, and that's always nice to see in an author's work. Depending on what Sharna Jackson writes next, I would certainly be interested in reading it!

Overall, while this wasn't as good as High Rise Mystery, I did still really enjoy it!
