In a word: fantastic!
In many words: This book was incredible! The characters, plot, and writing style were all wonderful. The pleasantly over-exajerated characters result in many comical situations. The word choice is lovely, and the book as a whole is a very enjoyable read. It's the sort of world you can melt into, and I can't wait to return!

Clever writing and fun characters, but I had trouble getting into it. I'm not sure why.

Decepcionante, esperaba mucho más. No me ha acabado de enganchar a pesar de que en algún momento sí me he reído.

I keep hearing that this isn't the best place to start Discworld and although I did actually start with Mort, I found this book brisk, fun, unique and revelling in subverting its genre tropes. It sets up some iconic characters well and good god that incredible cover!

While I do not hate this book, I do not love it either.

English humor is fun and enjoyable at times, but this book is like a strange drug indused dream with the mixture of fantasy and 'our world'.

There is nothing wrong with the story-telling nor the characters, it is just a bit too 'out there' for my liking. I will give the rest of the series a pass at this time.
