How does Malcolm Gladwell notice so many cool things that no one else talks about? I flew through this book and found it fascinating at every turn. The whole concept -- that the greatest victories come through desperation -- rings true.
Not as good as other Gladwell books. It was interesting at first and by the end, I was frustrated and thought the ending was very weak. Some of the examples were ill-placed.
Well, it was ok. Parts of it were very entertaining while other bits a bit slow and uninteresting. I wouldn't say that it was as motivational as some of the reviews on the back make out but it does prove that sometimes David can take on a Goliath and win.
This was an amazing book!!! I loved hearing about people succeeding through adversity! Highly recommend it.
David & Goliath is testament to the marvels of Gladwell as a story teller. He is a master in crafting insightful exposition, with a rare level of enchantment and panache that marries a flair more akin to a top novelist, with the candidness and mental acuity of a seasoned non-fiction writer. It is such style for which Gladwell is widely acclaimed. Gladwell, however, is not without his critics but there are some key perspectives most are missing...

I can’t write a review on Goodreads because I want to use everyday vernacular
I liked this book while I was reading it. Disadvantages are still mostly disadvantages.
Love the theme but it's much harder to read than Outliers. Too many people to keep track of... All by 2(?) are men... Different time periods... I think this would be fantastic if done by a chapter analysis/discussion rather than whole book.
