Wednesday Adams auctions herself
Posey is clearly supposed to be an adult non-magical version of Wednesday Adams and auctions herself to pay for her cat’s medical bills and other things. Her beau speaks like and alien, but so does she. So obnoxiously formal. The finale of this book was so anticlimactic it was frankly horrifying. Just overall rather disappointed.

Needing money to exact a revenge scheme, pay for her cat’s healthcare, and fund a bunch of college students, Posey (h) turns to a virgin auction with a guaranteed payout and a potentially marriage to a billionaire, who may or may not be human. Waylen (H), an exiled Voltare warrior in heat, attends the auction and scents his mate, much like his cousin Taygar (Auctioned to the Alien Beast). He takes Posey to his remote Idaho retreat intent on convincing her that he’s the mate for her. High heat bonding time for Posey and Waylen with lots of sexy action in this fated mates, alien romance quickie! Gotta love Demon!

This wasn’t really my thing. I picked it up because I have read some of the other books in this multiple author series and I liked them. This one was a bit tame in comparison and I found the reasoning behind Posey entering the virgin auction was flimsy. The revenge plot was pointless given how it was resolved. I don’t think I will be reading any more books from this author.
