4.5 ⭐️ the beginning half was a little slow, but the last 25%ish blew me away, especially loved Jenna

[3.5 stars] I’m not even gonna play w/ y’all, the only reason this rating is so low is bc there was no Raisa and almost no Han for all 535 pages

There are many twists and turns and I love how Chima is expanding elements only mentioned in the previous series. I will say that the new characters were a little challenging to invest in, but I had a similar experience with the first series.

I started to read this book years ago and stopped because I was mad as hell about the first chapter but when I finally read it again it was fine I guess

Wow. Great way to begin a new series in this world. I flew through this book even with my busy life schedule.
I could not imagine have just finished the demon king series and jumping right into this. The heartbreak of losing Han right off the back gave me flashbacks to Game of thrones and losing Ned Stark right away. That was a sign in both series that sh*t was getting real.
I cannot wait till see Ash return home and reunite with his family and for Jenna and him to reunite and to see where this will go.
