Mostly skimmed read this book. Meh too fluffy not nearly dark enough. Probably won’t be continuing with the series as i didn’t like the way the men are portrayed (this was too much of a romcom for a mafia book). Did enjoy the writing.

Kage is so ridiculously hot and intense that I am pretty sure it left scorch marks on my sheets. Nat may SEEM vanilla but she has a hiding masochist kink hiding in her closet. But rest assured that Nat can give just as much as she can receive.
If you want to read a book that keeps you up at night (because you can't put it down) and makes you need a change of panties, this is the book for you.

Great banter. The spice is excellent. The female friendship is funny and beautiful. Sadly very predictable and some passages felt long. Still 3,75.
It just seemed pretty unbelievable all around. A beautiful young middle school teacher lives alone in Lake Tahoe. On a TEACHER'S salary. The #2 of a mafia crew instantly falls in love with her. She was pining over her missing fiance and couldn't even imagine sleeping with someone else, but in the span of a few hours falls for and becomes kinky with the mafioso. The dialogue is so cringe, both people have zero personality. I literally have never DNF'd a book before, but I could not imagine spending 5 more hours listening to this audiobook. The story was just unengaging and unbelievable. The MMC is so cliche along with his dirty talk.

Classic Mafia romance-I didn't realize what this book was when I rented it, It was recommended lol. Its a SPICY Erotica Mafia book. Its probably one of my favorite Mafia books. but its not a thinker. Its mainly just "dark" fluff. Still good especially if you're in the mood for it.
