I am sure, eventually Eve Brown will act her age, but I refuse to read about the entire process for her to finally act like an adult.

In all honesty I would give this book a solid 3.8 but since it’s closer to a 4 here we are. In my eyes, Talia Hibbert can’t miss, but out of the three books in this series, this one happened to be my least favorite. This book was not bad in the slightest (I actually loved it), but I just happened to enjoy the other two more. I love the story line and the dynamic between Jacob and Eve and the way they understand one another is super sweet.

This was very well written for a romance. Extremely funny. Likeable characters, with rich stories and depth. The plot was formulaic but well written to the degree that I felt like it improved on what a lot of romances often lack, that is, sensible and self aware characters. This was very charming but the pace felt a bit off to me and so I lost interest quickly by the time it got to the last third of the book. Thoroughly enjoyed reading this though! Laughed out loud often.

I absolutely loved this book! It was so heartwarming and endearing all the way through. In many ways, it was the perfect cozy romance and exactly what I wanted to read.
