It’s a fun read for what it is! What it is - a historically based feminist mystery. Nothing super deep, but a fun to follow mystery set in the Victorian era which a strong female main character. I agree with some of the other reviews that the mystery is pretty predictable, and thought the romance was also pretty predictable. But I still enjoyed it as a nice brain candy sort of read - recommend for people who like historical mysteries and aren’t looking for anything too deep.
