I've grown to love Julie Kriss' writing style and this book did not disappoint! This slow burn, office romance was such an angsty but sultry read. I really enjoyed both of the main characters. The author did a great job of building up their chemistry and relationship in the story line before anything happened between the two of them. And when it did, wow! Talk about HOT!!!! I really liked the approach the characters took to satisfying their dilemma of being boss/subordinate and how to avoid office drama. It added an element of playfulness that was so unlike the personalities of both the hero and heroine.

Aidan, the Man in Black, was such a mysterious character. The author didn't give away too much about his true personality in the beginning, which I really enjoyed! It kept me guessing what kind of man he was and what he was capable of. I loved his back story and the introduction of his business partners along with how the company they established came to be. Little by little, we were given nuggets of information and insight that helped prove what a truly incredible hero Aidan was.

The epilogue was so good but I truly wished we could have seen what happened in the 2 years that were missing from the story! There was so much potential for more Aidan and Samantha once they professed their feelings! I wanted more!

Samantha executive assistant to Aidan, but not ordinary romance, they pretend to be strangers and changing making sparks fly higher. It was intense, role-playing and the steamy of it all was off the charts. I am looking forward for more in the next book.

Filthy Rich by Julie Kriss – Aidan and his partner best friends run a venture capital company that makes them very wealthy men. Aiden’s assistant Samantha really likes her job, but she also really likes her boss. As the two of them try and negotiate their way to a personal relationship that won’t wreck their work relationship things get complicated. Julie Kriss never disappoints me when it comes to romantic gestures! Happy Reading!

This was entertaining, but generic.

Pretty much your standard romance novel with your cookie-cutter billionaire CEO and generic heroine. I think the writing was a bit repetitive/lacking, but at least I wasn't hating every single minute of reading this. I wasn't a big fan of the whole stranger role-playing that occurred for half the book just because it didn't allow for the characters to genuinely get to know one another and I think the ending was a bit random.
SpoilerSamantha literally sees a gossip article and a picture of Aiden touching another woman's elbow and she decides to fly off to Paris the next day???
The characters' reactions are just a tad extreme for my liking.

It was OK, nothing much happens.

Office romance (boss - assistant).
No virgins
Safe - there was no OP for both parties.
Hero was a decent guy.
Heroine was OK.
A little push/pull from h.
HEA.
Epilogue could have done better IMO
