The art is fantastic. Other than that, I don't know why I liked this manga so much as it has a lot of love triangles and was pretty rushed in the end. I do like the characters, even though Ninako is pretty annoying at the beginning of the book, she grows into a very sweet character (as opposed to a classic ditzy character).

I read volumes 1 through 10 of this. I think it is lacking compared to Ao Haru Ride.

Much better than Ao Haru Ride. Much much better. The guy is much nicer. I looove all the secondary characters. Even the "other girl", their back stories were perfect. A really good shoujo in my opinion. Thumbs up!

Short and 'Dirty'

I've never been much for love triangles or anything that's complicated in the love area. This book is one big jumble of complications in the love area. And that's all this story line is about, the love area.

Ninako is in love with Ren. Ren already has a girlfriend. Daiko is in love with Ninako, they're friends. Ninako's friend is in love with Daiko....it all makes me head hurt! CONESSIONS ALL ROUND!

Ninako is curious to explore what love is, and navigate her own feelings versus what her friends think she feels. Ninako must figure out if her feelings for Ren are one-sided or not.

Light hearted story of falling in love for the first time. Ninako has to learn how to figure out what she thinks on her own, and not be influenced by others. Art helps convey the story.

Enjoyed this series, and how realistic all of our characters were!

I had originally checked this out from the library but I never got around to reading it. Last week I read the first chapter on Viz.com and I decided to buy it.

The first two chapters are pretty standard but with the little twist in chapter 3 really made me more interested to continue the story.

I hope the story goes more into peer pressure and relationships because I see that's a theme in the first few chapters.

I loved the first three volumes of Strobe Edge. Why didn't I buy the whole series at once? 🤦‍♀️. Now I have to wait to finish it. Strobe Edge tells the story of falling in love with the wrong person at the wrong time. So far each of the characters has managed to handle their emotions with maturity and focused on remain good natured & I can't wait to see what happens next.
