Bruh, it’s SO GOOD. Okay, why am I only just now realizing how wonderful it is that the first few chapters are establishing that Ninako has always went with what everyone else says & does & that ACTUALLY falling in love with Ren is her defiance of that & marks her turning point???? I just love it omg. Also her friends need to chill, stop telling my girl what she feels. RIP Daiki, BUT I LOVE HIM & SAYURI!!! I’M SO EXCITED!! I LOVE REN!!

This was exactly what I needed right now. I’ve been trying to get into something with no luck it feels lately. I’ve been liking things but not enjoying them, and reading this, I finally enjoyed something recently.

This is a pretty basic plot but we follow this girl named Ninako and her friends admire this boy Ren from afar. Then one day on a subway the two meet and Ninako falls for him pretty quickly.

This is one of those few instances that I actually rooted for the main character to be with Ren over her friend Daiki. Ren is really sweet and kind. I’m excited to see these two grow closer and fall for each other. This story isn’t anything extraordinary plot-wise, but I really needed this right now and I enjoyed it a lot. I definitely would recommend it!

I am pretty picky when it comes to shoujo manga. I'd read so many terrible shoujo with stupid plots and shallow characters that there was a time I deeply loathed it. Not until did I have a chance to read such awesome shoujo mangas like Kimi Ni Todoke, Catsreet, Hibi Chouchou, Honey and Clover..vv. that I started to change my mind and tried to read Shoujos again, even though good shoujos are still hard to find.

Strobe Edge is not a bad manga, the art is pretty good. However, the plot is repetitive and the characters are quite boring. The love triangle is annoying. The character development is pretty non-existed. Actually I don't hate any character but I can't say that I like them either. The only characters that got my attention are Mayuka and Manabu. But they don't appear often in the manga.

However, I've read much more worse so I think it's an okay read.

It's not a bad book, but it is an earlier work than Blue Spring Ride (not quite the first, I think, but still early); both the art style and the storytelling are less polished as a result. Lesson learned, I guess.

Me es físicamente imposible no leer un libro/ manga cuando sé que tiene amor no correspondido. I don't know bro, that's just my drug.
