Getting my Peter Grant kick through graphic novels! Black Mold has been my favorite so far. It is certainly fun to see the characters come to life in the artwork, and the stories are great little short stories. Two thumbs up!

Another good addition to the book series - ties in previous plot lines without leaving someone new to the series in the lurch. More exploration of the characters and only mildly monster-of-the-week, but with good relevance to the main plot lines of the series.
That all being said, I kinda wish the art was more... interesting. It's not bad. But it's very straightforward - no page layout or one piece of art has really wowed me. I'm not sure I like crime procedurals as comics, which is not the fault of this series, merely a realization I came to while reading it.
But I'll keep reading because these are fun like the books.

I was looking forward to this so much I pre-ordered it three months in advance (something I'm not wont to do). When it finally arrived I was looking for a particular good moment to sit down with it and read it in one go.
The comics of Rivers of London are a nice addition to the main series, although it doesn't seem they are essential to the overall plot of the series. Nevertheless I've been enjoying them a lot and would certainly recommend them to fans of the series. Black Mould, as the name suggests deals with an infestation of sentient mould and was another good read. The only complaint I had was that the solution felt a bit rushed, but this was not a major problem.

I'm very impressed by the Rivers of London comics, and this one is no exception. It keeps us tided over until the next novel, and sometimes shows a different side of the characters than the one we see purely from Peter's point of view. The small details in the art are pretty amazing, for sure - some parts had me laughing out loud (e.g. what Molly's nightwear is) even if the action of the scene itself is not supposed to be funny. A great short Rivers of London story, and highly recommended for all fans (but read the first two comics first)

I'm a sucker for Peter Grant, and this delighted me. Not, I think, as strong as some of the other adventures, but hey, it's a story to tide us over and I'll take it.
