Definitely my favorite of the series!!

I love Soren and Jet sooo much! They are my fav couple of all the Gay Brigade! I love them soooo much!!!

Update: after thinking about this overnight I have to come back and remove a star from 4 to 3. Jet was such a great character, he deserved a better story.

I liked this story, but it was not my favourite in this series.

I found Jet to be an inconsistent character in this series. He was quite different in Book 4 than when we were first introduced to him - he suddenly became bouncy and ADHD-ish, which he didn't seem to be in the prior book. He was cute and sweet and fun so I accepted this as possible maturing of the character? I don't know. But I thought the way he had become so jaded and lonely and sad from 3 years of touring was really a down note to end this series on, even though they do get their HEA. I liked him in the prior book and wished for a better life story for this character. The guys all had their challenges, but his situation was the saddest. I would have liked at least another full-length book in the series to be able to mitigate that.

The story was as well-written as all of the rest of the books in this series, and we get to see a lot of how the rest of the guys' lives have evolved, so that was definitely great. Lots to like about this book, but not my preference for a series end book. I'm going to read "Final Play" and hope that resolves some of my concerns.

Update Sept 30/21
The three chapters that focus on Soren and Jet in "Final Play" should absolutely have been part of this book. They belong here. Those chapters resolve my concerns about how sad things were for Jet. and should have been published as a part of his story, not as a separate epilogue elsewhere.

Love this series. Jet was sweet, I could have done with a hell of a lot less
Spoiler harley and how he felt about him and all that, Soren is a hell of a guy for sticking around that mess.
I really want Ryder's story....he's about all I can think about now. Sweet and yummy.

Rockstar Jet/JJ/Jay final gets his epic flove with hockey god Soren.  Probably my least favorite of the series, but obviously still enjoy it.  I think maybe I just don’t love second chance romance? Love the characters tho.

fast forwarding to the last book in this series.

book 1 (maddox & damon) hardly sold me on the other couples just yet who would appear as main characters in the upcoming books. the synopsises haven’t really won me over either with the exception of this one.

i’ve never done this before. however, i was right to trust my intuition and just jump into this book. they weren’t perfectly flashed-out but i liked both caleb and jet. and got excited about reading the rest of the series. recently, i’ve grown to love seeing couples through other’s eyes before getting to actually know the couple. miller and talon i mean…

or even noah and matt - but i also discovered i quite resent surnames that start with m in books. they are usually forgettable and if you don’t have the thought-out, precised and unique personality to back up your mc’s name, it won’t work for me.

anyways, caleb and jet reminded me so much of Ryke and Daisy. i felt nostalgic over reading about them. if you love Raisy, you’ll love this book.

This is a story that could have been filled with a lot more capitol-D Drama but it kept skirting the line there which I actually really enjoyed. This feels like a good "end" to this series because it really does seem like it's launching into another--which it is with the Popstar series. This book felt more like a quiet continuation of the family she'd built in the previous books; not that it wasn't a focus on Soren and Jet but because of the previously mentioned avoiding drama bits... it was softer and slower than the others. Like that but it might not be for everyone.

Warning: if you start this book and enjoy it you're going to get sucked into the next series ("Popstar") and that means you're going to get sucked into reading about boy bands and probably finding yourself enjoying it.
