This book is packed with information, and I could see having a new takeaway every time you read it. I really appreciated the whole history of sugar to see how sugar has invaded our lives, particularly in the United States. I think there's some disagreement about the author's claims later in the book, but I would still recommend the book to just learn more about the impact of sugar and how to be more intentional. I do wish the book discussed naturally occurring sugar (like in fruit) more and had some sort of guidelines for what to do moving forward. I kind of felt like there was no personal solution given and our bodies are just hopeless and cursed for generations.
