this book is one of the sweetest books i’ve read in a while and i’m definitely going to read more books by this author. the book starts with dakotas husband (he was a drug addict behind her back and cheating on her) dying and his best friend christopher coming to check on her and the her two girls. at first dakota was upset with chris because she was like he didn’t help her husband get over his addiction but she got over that soon because she realized it wasnt his fault that her husband died. when i say christopher STEPPED UP, he really did. he was doing everything for those kids like he put them in hockey practice when they wanted to play hockey, he was taking them to and from school, and the way he was talking care of dakota was just so sweet like he really loved all three of them. He even moved them into his house so that she wouldn’t pay bills like he was doing the damn thing and i love it, love them as a couple and the family dynamic with them and the new baby as a whole!!

As with all the other books in the series this one is fantastic. Dakota is married to Christopher's best friend Benji, who has gone off the rails and overdosed leaving her a widow with 2 small girls.
Christopher steps in the make sure they are OK and both fall for each other. The best parts of the book is the interaction between Christopher and the girls, Rain and Luna. It's absolutely perfect and so special.
Great book, great storyline and fantastic characters.
