Thing is I loved it. I just hated the ending. To the point I almost threw the book across the room. I’m sure the goal was to make readers feel angry at how things unfolded and it worked on me. I see a sequel might be coming so maybe after that l’ll be less angry. Still loved it overall though.

This book has a ton of potential, but it seemed to be stretched a little thin. I would’ve preferred a bigger focus on the characters than working so hard to uphold the back and forth plot. That being said, I did enjoy the friendships at play, even if the love story could’ve used a little more pining as opposed to pure tension.
