As you can tell by how long it took me to read this it wasn’t very interesting in my books. There wasn’t anything wrong with it it just lacked a lot for me.

Had pretty much the exact same plot beats as A Family Affair but wasn’t quite as engaging.

This was another great age-gap romance by Harper Bliss. Ali and Jill were two well rounded characters that were very relatable. Their relationship developed naturally and I like the fact that there was a whole lot of angst and drama for them. Overall great read!

Generally, romances where one of the main character's family or their family dynamic/family trauma is the main point of conflict just aren't for me but I enjoyed this story. Not my favorite from this author but I would still recommend it to others.
