Really interesting read. Kind of out there but felt true and real. A real perspective shifter

thank you, cj the x!

Definitely not all applicable and I don’t agree with the author on everything, but for certain first world problems this kind of reframing is definitely extremely helpful!

I took a 12-week course on shadow/ego work which helped me digest this book better.

It still was somewhat of a struggle to wrap my head around the concepts, but I can see how it could be helpful for other people. I may return to this eventually.

starting with a completely unsupported myth about how persephone split herself into two and then raped herself as hades is a wild way to start; but i kept reading anyways but it didn’t get any better. just more manifesting/mind over matter vibes with nothing new to add it seems

My tolerance for spiritual framings of interesting ideas has gone way up the last two years but this was unfortunately too much. I'm sure there's good ideas in there, I've been told at least on twitter several times, but I couldn't get past chapter 3.
