I loved this collection of short spicy stories that was published as an annual celebration of woman’s empowerment! I was drawn to it because of Kandi Steiner, but I found several authors that I hadn’t read and loved!

Thank you to Shannon O'Connor for providing me with an ebook copy of the novella, Sawyer, to read and review. Sawyer is part of a larger anthology, Evil Queen: A Charity Anthology, which is an annual anthology supporting women's empowerment. This edition's proceeds are supporting the charity WriteGirl, which is a creative writing and mentoring organization that empowers teen girls. This was such a powerful story of this character overcoming a huge challenge and beating the cycle that was her family history. I loved that it was focused around one of the characters from O'Connor's Eternal Port Valley series and gave us a look back into her past. It was great after reading the first 2 books of that series to gain more insight into what Sawyer has overcome to get where she is now. Definitely one I recommend!

With a vast and varied styles of stories within these pages, the Evil Queen Anthology showcases some of the most amazingly talented authors that are out there today. This collection gives us the strength and epicness that are powerful women in so many ways that once you start this anthology, you won’t want to stop. Each story gives you something different and honestly leaves you begging for more. I read genres that I normally do not delve into but found myself LIVING for them. This collection is giving women a voice and telling you that no matter what, YOU ARE A QUEEN!
