I won this book in a Goodreads raffle and I liked it. I'd probably pick up another book by the author if I saw it at the library. It's a feel good romance and there is almost no actual conflict. Every issue gets worked out with minimal drama or angst.

This story lacked the Sarah charm found in her other stories. This was bland with no depth. It was not engaging and the characters were very 2D.

The chemistry between the two was non-existent and I didn't get the need for all the secrecy from her end. It made no sense and was just causing drama for the sake of it.

It was a lovely and fun story, I loved to follow Diana's adventures and love story with Griffin. It wasn't too original but it was an enjoyable read nonetheless.

This was super cute. I really liked all of the characters and the relationships they had with each other and how those relationships grew through quality time spent together and having important conversations. There was obviously a few references to how “hot” Griffin was, but it wasn’t the main part of the book. I get so tired of a female character going on and on and on about a man’s physical appearance. Griffin was kind, so considerate and a total gentlemen (like too good to be true level.) It is definitely a sweet, feel good clean romance if you can get past all the lying and manipulation, which I realize some people can’t. It was tough for me at times.

My only warning is not to come into this one expecting reality. The scenarios in this book would never happen and honestly some do them were so implausible I rolled my eyes. There were quite a few “set ups” for conflict and then everything just kind of resolved easily, which was disappointing. I found myself wishing someone would be mad or disappointed or just a tiny bit ticked off about something! Anything really!

In addition, the characters were all fairly one dimensional. Nice from start to finish. Diana was really the only one with any bit of complexity and she really didn’t have much growth either other than maybe learning to trust people a bit. Definitely need to suspend reality to get through this one. Just read it for the fun moments and the cute kids.

Cute romcom. I didn’t love it and I didn’t hate it. The romance felt a little instant and that just isn’t my favorite. I did like the premise and story development.
