This was such a cute, sweet book. Would have rated it higher, except for a few things:
1. There's a line in there, about God's love being like a basket of fruit - "never empty, always full" - that I think is a confusing way of describing His love, because baskets of fruit do run out. As a kid, I used to get hung up on bad analogies, and I think this one would have bothered me. I think a better comparison might be something like the ocean, which actually is always full (more or less. In any case, for kids it would ring true).
2. Each "point" she makes ends on a page that says "But mostly what God does is love you" (like most children's books), and I love that setup. There was one page, however, that did not do that, and it threw off the cadence/rhythm. This isn't a big deal, just something that interrupted the flow, and I wish they'd edited it better.
Overall, really cute book, and a great reminder to look at all the things God takes care of, from big to super tiny...and here He is, taking care of you too. If the tiny ants on the ground aren't too small for God to care about, then neither are you.
Because of all the things God does, mostly what He does is love us :)
