Dark academia, professor student. At Verenmore there are many unknowns and mysteries lurking in the woods, within the halls of the university, and secrets amongst the students (and teachers). The eerie, haunted setting played perfectly into all the paranormal possibilities and mysteries of the story. The tension and spice, the dirty talking professor! It all worked for me. I was enthralled in the story from the start and loved every minute of this book!

I never read this type of book before and it was little hard to get into it at first, but Corvina and Vad both were really interesting characters with many secrets, especially Vad, so they got me hooked

This was a quick young adult dark paranormal romance. I enjoyed it, it had my attention the whole time. I was invested in it. It had spice, suspense, and secrets. I don’t know why I waited so long to read this, because I really enjoyed this. I definitely could have binged this one easily in a day. I enjoyed the characters and the storyline, along with the backstory.

Would I recommend? Yes, i think if you just read it and don’t expect much and just enjoy the ride. It’s enjoyable!
