Was this the best dark academia I have ever read? No. Did I love reading it and throughly enjoy the story? Yes! Processor student romance with paranormal activity and murder, what more do I need? Things were left unanswered but I liked that, added to the mystery and made you think.

I’d lean towards 3.5⭐️ the only reason this isn’t a 5 star read is because I felt it was good enough for 200 more pages.

For what it was, it was excellent. The perfect comfort read after finishing an emotional roller coaster of a series. Very little tension between the FMC & MMC. Runyx gives all the lover girls and boys what they want with this light, gothic romance with some dark twists that I didn’t see coming.

What would make this 4-5 stars for me? 200 more pages and some questions answered. Maybe even some time to let the MCs genuinely connect.

Other than that, I truly did enjoy this story as a quick reset!
