Absolutely loved it, finally a classic that isnt filled with overly sexist and slaughter-all-animal themes

I quite enjoyed the stories about Moglii. The others were still cute but I found a substantial difference in the intended age of the reader. I would say the other stories are for a much younger audiences.

It's been a long time since I've seen the animated Disney movie, but I have to think that the book is far more sublime than the movie. To borrow a phrase from Eric Whitacre, Kipling is not at all condescending to children. This book is definitely a classic.

Most of the stories about Mowgli and a few of the others were really interesting and engaging, but the rest dragged. It took me longer than I care to admit to finish this book!

Books written in the 1800's are so hard for me and this audio version was kind of robotic.

First time I try Kipling; I might kiple again in the future.
