The first few chapters were the nostalgic Mowgli adventure I grew up with, if a little different from the Disney movie. The last several chapters, however, surprised me by being different stories and characters entirely. They were entertaining, but not exactly engaging. I read them before bed to help me fall asleep, and they were quite effective!
