Okay so.

The dialogue got better. Ari and Dash had so many scenes where they just had normal conversations without being propelled by lust that it made their relationship progress from friends to lovers extremely believable.

On the other hand, the whole thing with Daphne was too… I don’t know. I personally didn’t like that part of the book.

Oh, Melanie!! You have outdone yourself! Small Town Swoon is flawless! Without a doubt the best of Cherry Tree Harbor! The banter, the flirting, the fawning…the dangle! Dash is hilarious and won my heart quickly & Ari is incredible! I loved every second! It will definitely be on my top shelf re-read!!

Just when I thought I couldn’t love another Buckley man, here comes Dash to prove me wrong. Ari and Dash have known each other since they were kids since she was his sister’s best friend. She had asked him to be her first when she was 16 and he turned her down. So for 8 years, her broken heart made her hate him. When he comes back to town for a month to find himself, things change between them. Once again, Melanie has given me a book that tugs at my heart and reminds me I have one.
